I developed the visual identity and expanded graphics suite for the American-Made Solar Prize, part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s broader Challenges program, based on an initial logo concept. Over four years, I grew this visual system to include identity design, explainer visuals, social media and web assets, email graphics, infographics, and presentation slide templates. I also created template designs for all official rules and documents related to the Solar Prize.
One standout piece is the infographic summarizing results after three competition rounds. Designed with a clean "blueprint" theme, it conveys the breadth of the Solar Prize while remaining easy to update with new data as future rounds conclude. This adaptable visual approach helped establish a cohesive brand across evolving communications and supported both clarity and consistency throughout the program lifecycle.
Below, you’ll find key examples—highlighting how a well-structured visual system can drive brand cohesion and support evolving content needs over time.
